Board-certified orthopedic surgeon Dr. Paul M. Sasaura preserves his patient's (of all ages) lifestyles since joining Summit Orthopedic Specialists in 2002. Dr. Sasaura enjoys all aspects of orthopedic surgery, and has a special interest in orthopedic trauma and joint reconstruction.
He was the first surgeon in the region to offer MAKOplasty Partial Knee Resurfacing this year and was one of the first to perform a computer-assisted total joint replacement. After receiving his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, Dr. Sasaura completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California Davis Medical Center.
During his residency, he also trained at the Shriners Hospital for Children. After his residency, Dr. Sasaura was awarded the Timothy Bray Award for Excellence in Orthopedic Trauma. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the California Orthopedic Association and the Paul R. Lipscomb Orthopedic Society. Dr. Sasaura frequently holds joint educational talks in the community and is Chairman of the Orthopedic Surgery Department at Mercy San Juan Medical Center.
A practicing orthopedic surgeon for more than 30 years in the Carmichael area, Dr. Robert L. Cameto was a founding member of Summit Orthopedic Specialists when it opened its doors in 1995.
Dr. Cameto is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He enjoys working with patients through their evaluation, treatment, and recovery to ensure the quickest return to regular activity. Dr. Cameto earned his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, College of Medicine. He then completed a general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Cameto subsequently completed an advanced fellowship at the Duchess of Kent Children's Orthopaedic Hospital in Hong Kong. Dr. Cameto is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
As a lifelong athlete, Dr. Cameto understands his patients' needs and works with them to deliver the best possible treatment plans. He works with each patient closely from initial treatment through follow-up care to ensure a quick and healthy return to normal activities. In addition to his practice, Dr. Cameto is an avid skier and a doctors' volunteer ski patrol member at Alpine Meadows. He also serves as team doctor for the Del Campo High School football team. In his spare time, Dr. Cameto and his wife enjoy training for and competing in triathlons.

Specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Hunter S. Greene is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who has been with Summit Orthopedic Specialists since 2005.
Dr. Greene specializes in pediatric and adult sports medicine in his practice, including arthroscopic shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle techniques. He is also the only surgeon in the area who is fellowship trained in hip arthroscopy, a minimally invasive method of diagnosing and treating a variety of hip conditions. Earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Greene completed a general surgery internship at the UC Davis Medical Center. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the Yale New Haven Hospital and fellowship training in sports medicine and pediatric sports medicine from UC San Francisco.
Dr. Greene is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a member of the California Orthopaedic Association and the Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine. As part of Dr. Greene's practice, he serves on the board of Positive Coaching Alliance, an organization dedicated to teaching young athletes life lessons through sports. In his role with Positive Coaching Alliance, Dr. Greene emphasizes injury prevention with the athletes. Dr. Greene is also a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine. Dr. Greene enjoys working closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan that allows the quickest and safest return to their respective activities.
With her background as an athlete, Maddie naturally developed an interest in Sports Medicine and General Orthopedics.
And these proved to be her primary drivers for pursuing a graduate program at PA school at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston. Post-graduation, Maddie was selected to become a member of the Phi Alpha Honors Society.
She is also an active member of the California Association of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. As a fully trained and formally certified PA, Maddie is 100% passionate about serving patients' orthopedic needs in the Greater Sacramento Area. All of this, coupled with her experience in Sports Medicine and General Orthopedics, make her a great fit at Summit Orthopedic Specialists.
She also graduated from MCPHS University in May 2024 with a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Healthcare Administration.
Meet Estefania, a proud California native who was raised in the sunny San Fernando Valley and frequently visited family in Solano County.
She holds a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge where she was actively involved in a student-run organization that brought free group exercise classes to local communities and taught seniors fitness. After graduation, Estefania gained hands-on experience in physical therapy clinics and continued her passion for promoting physical wellness in the senior community.
Estefania went on to pursue her medical education by completing a post-baccalaureate program for pre-medical students at California State University, Fullerton. She used this opportunity to volunteer with a student-run organization that provided free healthcare services to underprivileged communities in Mexico and gained experience as a medical scribe in an emergency room. She then graduated from The George Washington University with a degree in Physician Assistant studies.

Brittani’s journey into orthopedics began during her time as a physical therapy aide, where she developed a strong interest in musculoskeletal care. Her lifelong passion for sports, both as a lacrosse player and coach, played a pivotal role in shaping her career path and fueled her commitment to helping patients achieve a better quality of life through orthopedic care.
Brittani earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in Biochemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno, before pursuing her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University in Boston. After graduation, she was honored with membership in the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants, as well as the Alpha Eta Society, recognizing her dedication and academic excellence.
Throughout her career, Brittani has remained actively involved in professional organizations such as the Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery and the American Academy of Physician Associates. Her combined expertise in orthopedics and sports medicine, along with her leadership experience in establishing a high school girls' lacrosse program, makes her a perfect fit for Summit.
